The role
A senior manager role leading AI strategy work with C-suite clients at a consulting firm. The focus is on turning AI ambition into measurable value across software delivery, from target-state engineering processes to enterprise data and agentic architecture.
You will advise CIOs, CTOs, chief data officers and engineering leaders on how their organisations can adopt AI-native software delivery at scale. The work covers defining AI-powered delivery strategies, target-state software development processes, platform and tooling architecture, and the operating model changes needed to support them.
A typical week includes executive discovery sessions to find AI opportunities, and building roadmaps, investment priorities and business cases. You will also lead multidisciplinary teams across strategy, architecture, data, engineering and change management, while owning client relationships and outcomes.
We are looking for someone with 14 to 18 years of experience in technology strategy, AI consulting or software engineering transformation. You should have hands-on depth in at least one cloud, data or foundation model platform, and experience building agentic systems. A track record of advising senior executives on operating model change and process reinvention is important, as is the ability to structure problems and communicate clearly with CxO audiences. Experience in AI governance, responsible AI or large deal shaping is a plus. A bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or science is required, and an MBA or master's degree is preferred.
The role is hybrid and based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata or Hyderabad. Some travel is expected, depending on client and project needs.
