Data Science Consultant / Manager, Generative AI

The role

A consultant or manager role for a data scientist with hands-on generative AI and agentic AI experience. You will design LLM and RAG solutions and lead client work across four Indian cities, in a hybrid setup.

You will lead cross-functional teams that deliver data science solutions for clients, and you will own engagements from scoping and planning through delivery and stakeholder communication. The work covers generative AI across NLP, computer vision and multimodal use cases, including agentic workflows built with LangChain, LlamaIndex or AutoGen and retrieval pipelines on vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate or Milvus.

A typical week involves designing cloud-native AI and ML platforms on Azure, AWS or GCP, and advising clients on MLOps practices from model training to monitoring and governance. You will also work on feature engineering and data architecture across structured and unstructured data, and on predictive models and recommendation engines that link to business outcomes.

You bring strong Python and SQL skills, practical experience with machine learning and LLMs, and the ability to explain technical choices to business teams. Experience in decision science for marketing, supply chain or sales, and exposure to consumer tech, enterprise tech or semiconductors, will help. You will also mentor junior team members.

The role needs five to fourteen years of experience in data science and generative AI, including team leadership or independent client delivery. It is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Gurugram or Hyderabad.
