About the client

The role
A technology company in Hyderabad is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design multi-agent AI systems. The role suits engineers with 5 to 10 years of experience who have taken LLM applications into production and work in Python, LangGraph and RAG.
The engineer will design and build the orchestration layer that links several AI agents, such as refinement, decision and coding agents, into one working workflow. The work covers skills-based flows built on LangGraph and the Model Context Protocol, so that outputs stay grounded in the right knowledge base.
A large part of the week goes to prompt design, retrieval strategy and model evaluation. You will compare foundation models such as Claude, GPT and Gemini on accuracy, latency and cost for each agent task, and recommend which to use.
You will lead technical design reviews and set engineering standards for AI services. Compliance with European AI and data regulations, and with internal DevSecOps practice, is part of the design work. You will also mentor junior engineers in the Hyderabad team on prompting, agent patterns and clean Python.
Day to day, you will work with architects and product owners in Europe across time zones, turning design ideas into scalable AI services connected to code hosting and issue tracking. Experience in regulated environments, Terraform, Kubernetes or German is useful but not required.
The role is based in Hyderabad, in the office, on a day shift. The experience band is 5 to 10 years in AI or ML, including at least two years of LLM work in production.
