The role
A technology company in Bengaluru is looking for a Custom Software Engineer with strong SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development skills. You will design, build and configure applications that meet specific business process needs.
Your day will involve working with stakeholders to gather requirements, building application features and making sure the solutions fit the wider business goals. You will test and debug SAP applications and look for ways to improve performance and user experience. You will also share knowledge with your team and give regular progress updates to stakeholders.
You should bring 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP, with a good grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Hands-on work in SAP application development and customisation, SAP NetWeaver, and tools such as ABAP Workbench and ADT is expected. Experience in requirement gathering, application configuration and testing is needed. Knowledge of ABAP for HANA, ABAP Cloud, CDS views, AMDP or RAP would be an advantage.
The role is full-time and works from the office in Bengaluru. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days are considered.
